Sophie maintains her position a the Worlds

Update 3rd Jan: Achieving a 14th & 16th yesterday Sophie is still in the top 20. Currently lying 16th overall.

Results Day 3

Happy New Year from Napier New Zealand.

Sophie had a fourth place in the first race of the regatta on New Years Day, putting her in 10th position overall and today achieved 4 top 20 results out of 214 boats, including a 5th place in race four putting her in 7th overall on the leader board tonight after 2 days of the world championships.

She is keeping very cool, conservative, playing it straight up the fairway, playing the percentages and trying to control some of the very serious oposition.

It is early days in a long regatta and its just another day at the office!
