Craftinsure IODAI Sponsorship 2012
Craftinsure.ie is delighted to be continuing their support for IODAI in 2012 with a contribution towards the Spring
Training Week at Baltimore agreed in addition to the amount due under the sponsorship arrangement already in place.
We are also delighted with the support received from IODAI members, having seen the number of Optimists insured with us increase by 32% over the past year, plus quite a
number of RIBs and other boats for Opi owners (or their Mums and Dads!).
It’s perhaps worth knowing
that Craftinsure automatically allows a 5% discount at renewal on all policies where a customer has more than one boat insured.
Good luck to all in 2012!

DETAILS OF THE EXISTING CRAFTINSURE
SPONSORSHIP ARRANGEMENT WITH IODAI
Already proving a popular choice for Optimist owners, boat insurance specialist Craftinsure has agreed to
support the International Optimist Dinghy Association of Ireland under a new arrangement which includes a contribution to the Association for each Optimist insured with Craftinsure.ie.
Rod Daniel, Director of Craftinsure.ie, remarked “whilst we insure boats of all shapes and sizes, we are very
keen to encourage youth sailing and so we are looking forward to the chance of helping more youngsters get afloat and develop their skills with this new partnership”.
By being able to obtain immediate quotations and cover on line, and therefore cutting out the paper chase,
premiums can be kept down to a minimum which in turn helps make sailing more affordable.
Craftinsure advise
that they are are happy to waive the
standard policy requirement for dinghies to be tied down to the ground in respect of Optimists provided reasonable precautions have been taken to safeguard the boats whilst left at sailing
clubs.
