Local sailor Wins Davy Munster Championships
Local Sailor Michéal O’Suilleabhain won the Munster Championships in convincing style. He finished in the top 3 in all races bar one which was used as a discard. He had a commanding lead over the nearest rival Tom Higgins by 10 points. Sam Crawford from HYC finished 16th overall in this fleet and was top silver sailor. In the junior Rob Keal had a good lead of 5 points over fellow club mate Harry Twoomey after 6 races to win the Junior title. The Junior silver fleet was won by Rory O’Sullivan who came 9th in Juniors. A regatta fleet up date will be published soon & all results can be found on www.iodai.com
