Under 12’s Team 2016
U12’s Training in RCYC
Thirteen sailors qualified for the 2016, U12 squad with 11 taking up their places. The team will compete at the British Optimist National Championships 2016 to be held in Largs, Scotland this August. Team Coach is Thomas Chaix who will support the sailors at the event.
Many squad members have sailing siblings who will also race in Senior/Junior and Regatta Fleets. The squad had their first training weekend in the Royal Cork Yacht Club in April and a three day clinic held in the Royal St George Yacht Club in early July.
