Worlds Team Train in Vilamoura
The Irish World team concluded the test event in Villamoura. 4 days of quality racing in the 69 boats fleet with sailors from MEX, USA, MLT, NOR, SLO, OMA, HUN, LAT, POR, GER, SUI, LCA, BEL, JPN & IRL. The event was aimed at settling our routines whilst getting a good idea on the conditions of the worlds. The 9 races series achieved just that.
On the results side, Harry Bell was our best finisher in 27th and Tom Higgins secured our best race with a 5th (was also lying 3rd in a race that was cancelled when the wind died to nothing).
Now heading back home to relax for a few days before flying over again for the big event.
