Under 12 Team 2025

This year our u12 team will head to the South of England and to the Weymouth & Portland Sailing Academy.

This Team is selected based on the end of year ranking and is made up of the top 12 sailors who are Optimist age 12 or younger in the year they travel with the Team. There is no requirement for the sailors to attend the Youth Nationals at Easter 2025.

The u12 Team is a parent led Team which supported by IODAI. We will shortly be looking for expressions of interest from a parent to help lead the Team and appointing a head coach.

The Team will first gather at National Training Week in October at the Royal St. George Yacht Club.
