Baltimore 2015
The dates for Baltimore 2015 will fall over the February mid term break,( 15th – 20th ) starting with registration late Saturday & Sunday Morning so book your accommodation now. Sailing & training begins on Sunday Afternoon so everyone has a leisurely Sunday morning to un pack boats & launch ribs. The half day on Wednesday last year was welcomed by most families so this will be happening again and we will finish on Friday with a one day regatta. Prize giving will be approximately 2 hours after racing finishes. As usual, we will be seeking help from all the parents . Families should plan to give 1 full days help per child entered. More details will follow in December. Please note that the IODAI organising committee are aware that a small number of landlords have raised their accommodation prices this year. We have been in regular contact with the local Chamber of Commerce & Baltimore Sailing club. Our concerns have been noted but we are advising families to search around for new accommodation as the majority of landlords have kept their prices the same for the past 3 years. We look forward to seeing a great entry list for the largest training event of any sailing class in Ireland. For new families we can assure you that this is one event to add to your calendar. There will be boats available to Charter from Thomas Chaix, details later.
