Crosbie Cup success for Conor Gorman
Conor Gorman of the National Yacht Club won the Optimist Class’s Crosbie Cup (limited to Silver Fleet competitors only) hosted for IODAI by Malahide Yacht Club and sponsored by TGI Fridays. Harry Durcan wins Leinsters 2014
The Leinsters finished this weekend after a great event was run by the RIYC.  The winds were very tricky for the 2 race officers . Also with 180 degree wind shifts, the enormous HSS coming in an out and the Cruiser regatta crossing the Optimist fleet, all led for an interesting regatta. The senior fleet was
Grace O’Beirne wins Ulsters
  Grace O’Beirne from the RStGYC won the Senior fleet of the Ulster Championships with Jamie McMahon winning the junior fleet. The silver Senior & junior fleets were won by Max Kavanagh HYC & Leah Rickard NYC respectively.
International Development Training
The first IDT training clinic kicked off with an intense boat handling session in light variable breeze in Dublin Bay.  This was a great opportunity for the coaching team (Kirsti and myself) to identify areas the sailors could improve particularly the mechanics of their light wind manoeuvres which were somewhat rusty having had a breezy racing
Regatta Fleet at the Leinsters
Race officer Michael Tyrell managed to get 4 good fast raves in today while managing the wind and the HSS. Good day had by all with changeable wind condition resulted in Jonathan O’Shaughnessy taking 1st overall in regatta fleet followed by eoghan turner and lying in  3rd Ethan berkery- kelly Hope to see you all
