Cheese & Wine Reception at the Munsters
The Royal Cork Yacht Club cordially invite all parents & guardians attending the Munsters to a complimentary Wine and Cheese reception in the RCYC bar in the Clubhouse in aid of the new Crosshaven RNLI Lifeboat. The reception will take place on Saturday after racing, once the Fleets return to the Club.
The reception will be a wonderful opportunity for parents to catch up one last time before the end of the summer sailing season and of course it is in aid of a very good cause.
A Children’s Menu will be available in the main dining room for the sailors to purchase food from while this reception is taking place.
The Lifeboat (SAR operations permitting) will be alongside at the club and the Sailors will be able to go to see it. The new Atlantic 85 has the latest in navigation technology and crew equipment, and costs approximately €225,000 new.
We hope you will all be able to attend this worthy event. The naming of the new lifeboat will be held at Crosshaven Lifeboat Station while the fleet is afloat at 1400 Sunday. More on the lifeboat can be found here .
