Committee volunteers urgently required
IODAI relies on volunteers to run all of its activities throughout the year. Without a full and actively engaged team on board, the likelihood of successfully delivering regattas and international teams greatly reduces.
We currently have two roles that need to be filled immediately – a Teams Organiser and a Child Safety Officer. Neither of these roles require the volunteer to have any sailing experience/knowledge, just a drive and enthusiasm to get the right things done. If you’d like to know more about what’s involved, please feel free to contact one of the current committee members and they’ll be happy to outline what’s involved.
In addition to the roles above, we are looking for volunteers to step forward to take over from the current committee President and the Event Manager as both Tim and Colm will be stepping down when their terms finish in September.
We are also seeking an Assistant Treasurer to help with the processing of banking transactions and the preparation of annual accounts.
