CROSBIE CUP – LOUGH REE YACHT CLUB 

Johnny Flynn, Howth Yacht Club triumphed with a convincing win coming 1st Overall

(1st Junior Fleet) followed by Kei Ando, 2nd Overall, Royal St George Yacht Club, (1st Senior),  Thomas O’Neill who finished 2nd in the Junior Fleet and 3rd overall.   The conditions were heavy on the first day and on Day Two, there was significant but less wind.

The competitors’ parents and siblings experienced Lough Ree Yacht Club’s hospitality, cooked their own steaks on the barbecue night and enjoyed the relaxed country atmosphere to make it a most pleasant weekend and without the need to wash the salt off the boats and sails!!
