Resource for club Class Captains

This section will be developed to assist club Class Captains in developing their Optimist fleets and to ensure that their local sailing programmes are integrated with IODAI to the greatest degree possible. An active and vibrant club sailing scene is essential in promoting sailing as a sporting and lifestyle option for children. IODAI’s primary activities of running national/regional events and the Baltimore Training Week are only one part of what’s required in promoting sailing to children. It is hoped that the information that will be provided here will help align the objectives of clubs to those of IODAI and Irish Sailing.
