It’s Brassed Off Cup time again…
For those of you who are brassed-off not to be heading out to Brassermermeer for Easter weekend, Howth Yacht Club is once again holding its popular ‘Brassed Off Cup’ on Good Friday (30th March). This fun event is a great opportunity for Oppie racers to tune-up for the upcoming Trials and the 2018 racing season.
The event has been building into a popular and well attended one over the past few years. More than 60 young sailors from across Dublin and Ireland are expected to take part again this year. While most of the action will be taking place in the Main Fleet about a mile north west of the harbour, it is hoped that a small fleet of up to 15 novice/Regatta Fleet sailors will race just outside the West Pier. Three races are planned from 12 noon.
