After a “covid-19 cancellation” in 2020, The EUROMED regatta is returning to the diary in 2021. We are a bit late to get the ball rolling but we can still make it happen with a small team.The EUROMED is the ideal regatta for an introduction to true international racing in a friendly yet competitive atmosphere. Certainly one to consider for any sailors with views to make an Irish team in 2022.
The DinghyPerformance set up:16-17 Dec: Training clinic18-21 Dec: Euromed regatta
Coach: Dylan ReidyTeam: up to 8 sailors (first come first served)Charter Optimist: BlueBlue (significant shortage of boats – DinghyPerformance is in Contact with Lukas Formella and should be able to hold boats until end of the week)Hotel: Across the road from launching areaFlights: Direct Dublin to Malta Dec 15th and return direct from Malta to Dublin on Dec 22nd. Ryanair.Overall cost approximately 1500EUR/sailor (which include charter and entry fee, both to be paid online by sailors)
Please note that everyone (without exception) over the age of 12 must be vaccinated to enter Malta as per local government rules.

Deadline to get the ball rolling is Friday 14.00so we can book flights at a good price, secure a charter and get the vaccination process started with sufficient time if necessary.
