Munsters 2013 – Kinsale Yacht Club
The following should be noted in relation to arrivals and registration;
1. Registration:
Registration on Friday is from 6pm to 8pm.
Registration on Saturday is from 9.30am to 11.00am.
2. Arrivals:
Boats arriving at the Yacht Club should park on the pier opposite the club and unload the boats on the pier. The locations for the various fleets are as follows;
– Regatta Fleet: Dinghy Park in front of Clubhouse.
– Senior Fleet: Dinghy Park in front of Club.
– Junior Fleet: Yard adjacent to Clubhouse.
These will be clearly signed on site. After unloading the cars and trailers will need to be moved off the pier.
3. Trailer Storage:
Trailer storage is available in a parking facility at the far side of Kinsale. The road leading past the Trident Hotel should be followed and turn right just before the bridge over the river. Follow this road for about 1 kilometre. The parking area will be signed on the right.
Persons will be at the Yacht Club on Friday evening and Saturday evening to help, in this regard.
4. Ribs:
The tide times are such that launching of ribs on the slip opposite the Clubhouse (at Pier) will not be feasible on Saturday morning.
Launching of ribs will therefore need to take place on Friday evening. Rib trailers can be stored as per the optimist trailers outlined above.
