Team Ireland into the final 16 in the Team Racing World Championships!
A very happy salute from Team Ireland at theTeam Racing World Championships in Thailand 2017
62 countries entered the Optimist World Championships. Following three days of fleet racing Ireland was seeded 40th out of 48 teams that qualified for the Team Racing World Championships.
After a long day on the water in Pattaya, Team Ireland, under Captain Harry Twomey secured a place in the final 16. An amazing achievement, for an Irish Team to qualify for the second round in the Team Racing World Championships.
We wish the team Justin Lucas, Harry Twomey, Leah Rickard, Alana Coakley and Charlie Cullen the very best of luck tomorrow.
First race is against Team USA.
