Under 12 Team 2024
This year our U12 Team will head to Wales to Plas Heli at the Welsh National Sailing Academy and Events Centre, Pwllheli, North Wales on the 4th to 9th August 2024 .
They will meet their coach, Adam Walsh at the National Training Week in RCYC in November.
They will all meet up again in Lough Ree Yacht Club on the May 2024
This team is selected based on the end of year ranking and is made up of the top 12 sailors who are Optimist age 12 or younger in the year they travel with the Team.
There is no requirement for the sailors to attend Youth Nationals.
The u12 Team is a parent led Team which supported by IODAI. We will shortly be looking for expressions of interest from a parent to help lead the team.
