In addition we need every parent to volunteer for one day per child for either for slip duty, catering, tag board or to supervise either the movie night (Tues) Disco ( Thurs). Please email: [email protected] stating your preferred day and the type of duty you wish to do, INCLUDE your mobile number please. Remember if you volunteer early you are more likely to get the duty & day that you want.PS. We only need 2 people to do Tag board so if this slot is already filled you will be reassigned to slip duty.
Slip duty involves helping smaller sailors up & down the slip & also collecting & retrieving trollies.
Catering involves giving out the soup & rolls at lunch time, hot chocolate after sailing & tidy up.
Tag board involves giving out sailor bands, retrieving same & keeping account of numbers afloat
Social Activity involves being on duty for the social event & keeping order!
Volunteering is good fun but hard work for the day, but a great way to meet new people & other parents.
