IDT Team Poland testing the water in Dziwnow
The International Development Team (IDT) Poland 2018, set off from Dublin Airport, for Dziwnow in Poland yesterday.
They were heading to compete in the Dziwnow Cup, being held in the venue of the 2015 World Championships. On the development team is:

- Eoin Horgan (RCYC & BSC)
- Richard McSweeney (RCYC & MBSC)
- Adam Walsh (LDYC & HYC)
- Fiachra Farrelly (HYC)
- Simon Pritchard (RCYC)
- Lucia Cullen (RStGYC & NYC)
- Anna O’Connor (RIYC)
The Team is supported by Team Mum Avril Walsh, Team Assistant Alison Walsh and Team Coach Michal Gryglewski.
IDT Team Poland 2018 – at Dublin Airport
The team will compete against 150+ sailors from Poland, Germany, Ukraine, Czech Republic, Russia and Lithuania. The racing will take place in a reservoir and 15 races are planned over the 4 days.
The sailors qualified for the team after the Optimist Trials last April. We wish them Bon voyage and the best of luck at the event.
