The Crosbie Cup takes place this weekend (July 28th and 29th) in Sutton Dinghy Club.  We are looking forward to a great weekend on the water for all our Silver Fleet and Regatta Fleet Sailors.  Entries are still open for the Crosbie Cup, we have removed the late entry fee, so you can enter right up
Entry to the Crosbie Cup has been extended to Saturday July 1st, with no late entry fee for entries up until 10pm on July 1st. This year the Crosbie Cup is taking place at Sutton Dinghy Club, Co. Dublin. The event is open to the following: All Regatta Fleet sailors and Main Fleet Silver Seniors

IODAI Regatta Fleet Position Statement.  IODAI welcomes children from 8-15yrs to the regatta fleet who are relatively new to sailing and new to racing. Generally children in the regatta fleet are between 8-11yrs. This fleet is designed to give your child coaching and confidence in a fun atmosphere at an IODAI event with an emphasis on training

Last weekend (26th/27th) saw the Optimist Ulster Championships return to Royal North of Ireland Yacht Club after a great event there in 2013.  There were 24 entries in the Regatta fleet. Taking part in the regatta fleet is an important start to any Optimist sailor’s career. Well done to all our sailors in the fleet
The aim of the Regatta Fleet is to help sailors achieve the necessary skills required to compete in a sailing race. To do this, Regatta fleet sailors will have coaches at each event; Cian O’Regan is the Head Coach along with Conor Hopkins, the Assistant Head Coach. There will be local coaches from each host
The 2011 regatta fleet national championships have just been completed in HYC in super weather conditions. A mixture of light winds, sunshine and then rain & wind enabled the fleet to complete 12 races. Annual Membership

 

Annual Membership for 2019 will be open from November 15th 2018. This is when registration for Baltimore will also open.
